Disabled In Action has been around for fifty years, fighting to make society accessible. People with disabilities have, and will continue to contribute and be productive citizens only when the barriers that block us are removed. DIA was born in the civil rights era of the 1960s and continues to work with the same passion as the people who founded this organization.
We have accomplished a lot but there is more to do. Let the work outlined on this page serve as encouragement and motivation for the work that lays ahead.
