Finance Committee
Members: Open to board members only
Goals & Objectives: The Finance Committee will monitor and manage DIA’s finances and the activities of treasurer. It will also deal with fund raising and grant writing.
The Finance Committee is a DIA standing committee as outlined in the bylaws. Finance committee members meet with the treasurer regularly to oversee the income and expense records as well as bank statements.
The bulk of DIA’s income comes from membership dues. While the organization’s operating expenses are small, additional revenues could greatly enhance the scope of our activism.
